The ACOS Trust Fund supports charitable, educational and scientific research activities that further the osteopathic surgical profession.


Your contributions make the following possible:
 
Member awards for excellence: Robert C. Erwin Literary Awards, given for outstanding manuscripts written by residents; Resident Achievement Awards, recognizing residents with outstanding clinical abilities and professional relationships with patients, medical staff and/or significant community involvement; Outstanding presentations of scientific exhibits and posters at the ACA; and Humanitarian Awards, recognizing members’ voluntary service to benefit their community, state, nation and/or the international community.
 
Grants to the ACOS Medical Student Section (ACOS-MSS) to fund student activities and programs that support the future of osteopathic surgery.
 
Prominent Keynote Speakers featured at the Annual Clinical Assembly.
 
Medical leadership programs to enable participants to increase their leadership strengths, implement collaborative problem-solving skills and to become more effective leaders overall.
 
Special Projects: Development of quality metrics to evaluate surgical training programs; a scenario analysis to examine workforce trends and the healthcare environment; and a professionally developed video promoting rural osteopathic surgery.

Each member contributing $500 or more will be invited to a VIP reception in the President’s Suite at the Annual Clinical Assembly and receive a gold lapel pin to identify you as a contributor.
