2017 General Surgery In-depth Review Seminar
CME hours earned at the meeting will be tracked through an online evaluation system. Paid registrants in attendance will have access to the evaluation system via the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (ACOS) website using the instructions below, detailed instructions, can be found here.
Attendees are eligible to earn a maximum of 22.50 AOA Category 1-A Credit hours and AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM.
In order to claim CME credits for all sessions attended at the meeting, registrants must evaluate each lecture attended. The system will calculate the total number of hours attended after the registrant has completed their session evaluations as well as the overall evaluation. Once all steps are completed in-full, certificates for both your AOA and AMA credit hours will be made available to print or email for your records. CME certificates will not be mailed to you from the ACOS office. ACOS will submit CME credits on your behalf to the proper accrediting body.
Please note, you must claim your CME credits NO LATER THAN July 7, 2017
. Attendees that do not submit their evaluation by the deadline WILL NOT receive credit for the 2017 In-Depth Review, there are no exceptions
To Claim CME Credits for the 2017 In-depth Review Seminar
1. Visit the ACOS website www.facos.org
2. Click Log On
at the top of the screen and enter your username and password.
3. Select My Profile
which will appear at the top screen once you’re logged in.
4. Select Meeting Evaluations.
5. Select the link 2017 General Surgery In-depth Review Seminar
, this will redirect you to the evaluation for this meeting.
6. Read the directions on the homepage then click Continue
7. Complete the Session Evaluation for each session attended
8. Once you have completed evaluating every session attended, click Return to Registered Events
9. Complete the Overall Evaluation
10. Click the “CME Attestation
11. Click “Claim CME Credits
” You are now able to print or email a copy of the CME Certificate for your records.
Available speaker presentations are now accessible via the Member Community
in the Resource Center. Login with your ACOS login information.

Forgot your log-in credentials? Select forgot login/password from the login screen on the ACOS website to have it sent to the email address on file.
If you experience a second login screen prompt following step 5 in the instructions to claim CME credits, your browser security settings must be changed to accept third party cookies. Helpful instructions can be found here. This issue stems from your browser security settings, not functionality of the ACOS website. ACOS staff are unable to troubleshoot or assist in modifying settings on your browser and/or computer.
