2012 Annual Clinical Assembly

Mark your calendar to attend the 2012 Annual Clinical Assembly of Osteopathic Surgeons (ACA) to be held September 30 – October 3 at the Chicago Marriott Magnificent Mile, Chicago, Illinois. The 2012 ACA program chairs have planned an exceptional continuing education program that you will not want to miss. The 2012 ACA will be held in conjunction with the American College of Surgeon’s Clinical Congress on Sept. 30 – Oct. 4.

Deadline for a scientific poster or exhibit at the 2012  ACA

The application deadline for a scientific poster or exhibit is June 15. Poster presentations at the ACA provide you with an opportunity to have an in-depth exchange of information on a one-to-one basis with other surgeons. Posters are an excellent medium for presentation of unusual or multiple clinical cases and the discussion of your findings and treatment results with the other ACA registrants.

Through a generous grant from the ACOS Trust Fund, award recipients will be presented with a plaque and a cash award of $2,000.

Paper submissions for the Robert C. Erwin Literary Awards must be original and a minimum of 1500 words. Residents submitting papers must be ACOS members and have contributed significantly to the research, design and authorship of the scientific manuscript. Through a generous grant from the ACOS Trust Fund, up to five award recipients will be presented with a plaque and a cash award for 1st ($1,500), 2nd ($1,000), 3rd ($750), 4th ($500) and 5th place ($250).
