Orel F. Martin Medal

The Orel F. Martin Medal is awarded to an ACOS member who has made outstanding contributions to the College or to the osteopathic profession. Nominees must be, or if retired from surgical practice must have been, certified by an AOA or ABMS recognized certifying board. A nomination letter must be submitted with the nominee’s curriculum vitae and received by the ACOS no later than February 1st. Nominations are reviewed by the Awards Committee prior to final selection of the winner by the Board of Governors.

Nominations should be sent to the ACOS office by mail at the address below or by email to [email protected]. Letters should detail the qualities, activities that exemplify how the member has made outstanding contributions to the College or to the osteopathic profession.
