Full Membership

Membership is available to physicians who have graduated from an AOA-accredited or LCME-accredited college of medicine, have successfully completed a surgical residency training program either approved by the AOA or accredited by ACGME, and are fully licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the state in which he or she practices. Allow up to 45 days for application processing. All newly elected members are required to participate in a membership induction ceremony (held at the Annual Clinical Assembly of Osteopathic Surgeons) within three years following election to membership. 

Military members, please note that ACOS offers a reduced membership rate for our military members. Please be sure to join or renew your ACOS membership at the ACOS military rate noted below.
