2019 ACOS Leadership Seminar

Join us May 4-5, 2019 at the Embassy Suites in Rosemont, Illinois for a day and a half of "Leadership for Surgeons," a professional development course designed specifically for those seeking to advance their leadership skills and knowledge.


Course Overview

This course was created to enhance the preparation and skills of those pursuing careers in leadership within their organizations or practice. Specifically, the course will provide members with the critical leadership skills and knowledge needed for career advancement. In an informative and collegial setting, this seminar will nurture current and future leaders in the field of osteopathic surgery. It will introduce self-assessment tools, identifying strengths and gaps in skill sets required for successful leadership. In addition, the seminar will identify roles, responsibilities, and approaches to define optimal levels of involvement in personal engagement.

Participants in the 2019 ACOS Leadership Seminar will be provided with 
resources to aid in their development as strong leaders who can act with the clarity and confidence needed to inspire and drive innovation and change. The course concludes with a Leadership Competency Assessment and Evaluation.

Eligibility

This seminar is for surgeons who are pursuing or currently in leadership positions within their hospitals, organizations or practice.
