General Surgery In-Depth Review Seminar

2020 ACOS In-depth Review Seminar

April 22 - 25, 2020
St. Louis, MO

ACOS will host the 2020 General Surgery In-Depth Review Seminar (IDR), April 22 – 25, 2020 in St. Louis, MO.

2020 IDR Program Chairs, Jessica L. Bartock, D.O., and Annika C. Storey, D.O., with the support of the In-Depth Review Committee, are diligently working on this year's content in an effort to once again deliver a top-notch, comprehensive educational program.

The IDR is our annual board review course. In addition to earning valuable CME credit, the Seminar is designed to provide the general surgeon with an in-depth review on topics found on certifications exams. Past participants have found it to be a helpful experience in preparing for certification or re-certification examinations**.

Mock Oral Boards Workshop:
With the growing popularity of our Mock Oral Boards Workshop, the IDR will again offer this valuable optional session. During the complimentary workshop, physicians preparing to take their oral board exams will have the unique opportunity to participate in a simulation of taking their oral board exam. PLEASE NOTE: due to the popularity of this activity participants must preregister to guarantee a spot in this session. You must register for the IDR and select the option to participate in the Mock Oral Boards Workshop. Contact meetings@facos.org with questions about the Mock Oral Boards Workshop.

**ACOS will not guarantee results on any certification or recertification exams

"I would like to thank the college for offering this recent well-structured In Depth Review for the recertification exam. Hopefully, this will be offered more frequently as it is a good comprehensive coverage of major topics. Glad to say I passed my exam on first attempt. Kudos to the ACOS IDR committee for a job well done!"
