The ACOS Trust Fund supports educational programming, attracting top keynote speakers to events and is used to support the only journal dedicated to publishing research from the osteopathic surgeon.
The ACOS Trust Fund was instrumental in launching and maintaining the ACOS Journal of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, which consists of five channels on the Cureus platform for the Cardiovascular and Thoracic, General, Neurological, Urological, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery disciplines. In addition, your donations to the Trust are used to:
- Attract highly sought-after keynote speakers for the ACA
- Offer ACOS Medical Student Section (ACOS-MSS) grants and scholarships to further the future of osteopathic surgery, research, education, and community service.
- Present plaques and cash awards to residents for excellence in medical research, outstanding clinical abilities and exemplary professionalism and commitment to the patients, medical staff and communities they serve. Thanks to the generous support of the ACOS Trust Fund, we were able to award $14,000 to another extraordinarily impressive group of residents in 2020.
