Travel Details

Fly: to Des Moines International Airport (DSM) via American, Delta, United, Allegiant, Frontier, or Southwest.

Shuttle: from the airport to the hotel is provided for free by Marriott, call (515) 245-5500 to order the shuttle when you land.

Book your hotel: at Marriott Downtown Des Moines by following this link or by calling (800) 514-4681. During your reservation, advise the representative you are with SOSA. As part of this group deal, wifi and breakfast at the Marriott is included. Please note, if multiple people are sharing a room, breakfast may be limited.

Price per room is $126/night +12% tourism tax. You must book by February 7th, 2020 to get this awesome rate.

Getting to DMU: best via Uber or Lyft (less than 3 miles away from hotel) parking at DMU is $10 per day at surrounding parking garages.

Where to meet: Details of where the conference will be held will be sent to registrants prior to the start of the event.

Waiver of Liability

To participate in the 2020 SOSA Spring Conference, you must register and complete the Des Moines University Waiver of Liability. A copy of the waiver will be emailed to you upon registering for the conference or you can complete the waiver by clicking here. Failure to complete the waiver will result in non-participation at the 2020 SOSA Spring Conference.
