General Surgery In-depth Review Seminar

ACOS launched the 2022 General Surgery In-depth Review Seminar (IDR), April 26 - 29. Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic the 2022 IDR was held virtually. All registrants have on-demand access to 2022 IDR program content for three years via the ACOS ELEARNING PORTAL. The College remains committed to our mission of promoting excellence in osteopathic surgical care through education.
Our 2022 IDR Program Chairs, Hania B. Bednarski, D.O., FACOS, and Jessica L. Bartock, D.O., FACOS with the support of the In-depth Review Committee led by Nelayda Fonte, D.O., FACOS, DFACOS, worked diligently on the development of our 2022 curriculum. The course is a top-notch, comprehensive educational program.
The IDR is our annual general surgery board review course, and this year is accredited for both American Osteopathic Association (AOA) Category 1A continuing medical education (CME) credits as well as AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. In addition to earning valuable CME credit, the Seminar is designed to provide the general surgeon with an in-depth review of topics found on certifications exams. Past participants have found it a helpful experience in preparing for certification or re-certification examinations**.

You can start learning and earning CME credits immediately by taking advantage of our 2021 VIRTUAL General Surgery In-depth Review Seminar (IDR). All sessions were hosted virtually, recorded, and available on-demand with unlimited viewing. Each session includes pre- and post-test questions from the instructors.
