2018 General Surgery In-depth Review Seminar
April 25–28, 2018, the ACOS hosted the 2018 General Surgery In-Depth Review Seminar (IDR) in Portland, Oregon.
The In-Depth Review Committee and this year’s Program Chairs – Kristen Conrad-Schnetz, D.O., FACOS, and Marc A. Campbell, D.O., developed a top-notch program. Our 2018 board review course was designed to provide attendees with in-depth review on the presented board exam topics.
The Seminar opened with a special “mock” oral board session on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 25. Participants learned tips and tricks on the oral boards before putting their skills to the test by being tested by our “mock” proctors. Thursday, April 26 the IDR curriculum will shift to focus on a deep-dive into the topics covered in the General Surgery OCC Written Examination. Participants experienced three full days of intensive learning to better prepare them for the certification or recertification examinations.
ACOS does not guarantee results on any certification or recertification exams.
