General Surgery In-Depth Review Seminar

2019 ACOS In-depth Review Seminar

April 10 – 13, 2019
Des Moines, Iowa

ACOS will host the 2019 General Surgery In-Depth Review Seminar (IDR), April 2019 at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown in Des Moines, Iowa.

The 2019 IDR Program Chairs, Marc A. Campbell, D.O., FACOS, and Benjamin A. Raymond, D.O., with the suppo  rt of the In-Depth Review Committee, are diligently working on this year's content in an effort to once again deliver a top-notch, comprehensive educational program. The 2019 IDR will again be a board review course designed to provide the general surgeon with an in-depth review. In addition to earning valuable CME credit, participants in this course will find it a helpful experience in preparing for certification or re-certification examinations.

Back by popular demand, the IDR will offer a special mock oral board optional session. The session is intended to assist physicians who are preparing to take their oral board exams.

Attendees have found the IDR to be a valuable resource in their board preparation.

"I would like to thank the college for offering this recent well structured In Depth Review for the recertification exam. Hopefully, this will be offered more frequently as it is a good comprehensive coverage of major topics. Glad to say I passed my exam on first attempt. Kudos to the ACOS IDR committee for a job well done!"

--Robert Edwards, D.O. Attendee, 2018 ACOS General Surgery In-Depth Review

"The IDR has been a great review for those of us that have to re-certify, as well as a great way to reconnect with other surgeons that I haven't seen in years, including my chief resident. It has been a great experience."

--Leslie Smith, D.O., Minneosota, Attendee, 2018 ACOS General Surgery In-Depth Review

ACOS will not guarantee results on any certification or recertification exams.
